You can change a name
you can change a face
you can rest upon a lofty perch
or a laurel
hide in a garden
even inside a church
let sleeping dogs lie
or lay about
with dogs asleep
circumvention
by obvious
pretention
taking the longest way around
back through the wilderness
a proclamation sealed by nefarious device
which will only result in the sender’s demise
winding through a sea of fallen foes’
rotting corpses’
bones picked clean
by foul birds of the air
retracing old steps
of past victories
and Glory…
Just to have the last word?
risking a slip
on coagulated spilled blood
and a possible fall
upon an unnoticed
upright sword

fifty cubits high
there it stood
the gallows
intended
for Mordecai
Some things…just make you wanna’ scratch your head?
My words don’t matter
so much…
really…
And neither do your’s
there is nothing to be said
that hasn’t been said before
Just said…in artistic creative ways
“there is no original thought, we are all plaguarists in some form”-C.S. Lewis
“The acceptance of God, is not an intellectual dilemna…but a moral one”-Dr. Ravi Zacharias
at the end of these days…
this human penchant…
for overstated vowel movements…
There shall be
only one
“WORD…”
that truly matters!
When the trumpet sounds in ZION!
Anthony Gomez, Moncks Corner, S.C.

Do not deceive yourselves. If any one of you thinks he is wise by the standards of this age, he should become a “fool” so that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s Sight.” (1 Corinthians 3:18-19)

The following is an insightful comment by Doug Blair on another site and my response to his comment:

  3. Every blogger on a supposed meritorious mission for Jesus should hear these words. We are such puny and pathetic toy soldiers. The last word is truly an ugly proposition, and all about self. Certainly our victorious Saviour does not require such cranky, nasty help. He has everything in hand AG. (Doug)

The fact is Doug, it doesn’t matter how many times you read something if the mind has become “set” That is the place I was delivered from and it was no easy task, it was Love, sweat, rollin’ up the sleeves, and a lot of elbow grease. But Jesus never gave up on me. And I realized that those people I wanted so much to help, to see, were beyond the reach of human hands.
