I know I know love, but it's hard to show love
So, so fast...but trying to go with slow love
Watering it with my tears won't work to grow love
I can only blame myself, for I weep what I sow, love...

I try and readjust from the high of angel dust

Fully able to love...but incapable of trust
and who don't I trust...me, that's who
for God is going to want me back...and I will have to leave you
A million raindrops falling from the skies
do nothing...to muffle...the calling of my cries
I feel the heat of love's all-consuming flame
Hear me as I'm falling and I'm calling your name
Love and pain and clouds of rain
Smothered by the flame...yet tears remain
One by one these teardrops fall
I put my hand out, but can't catch them all
and slowly, so slowly, my tear-filled hand closes
as the tears I couldn't catch create a puddle of roses
Roses are a sign of a love so true
and each ripple in the puddle is a memory of you
I thought I could open your eyes so that you could see love
but in the end, please forgive me, for I couldn't...be...love...

Why do I say the things I say

why do I push you away
because your love I will betray
on my dying day...

I don't know how to prevent certain lines from not being centered. Sorry.
