PostSubject: I awoke to the Lord   Sat Jul 19, 2014 3:32 pm

I was writing and reciting in the middle of my dreams
There were harmonious tones...there were melodious themes
Playing to an audience of nobody, it seems
I am a deafening echo...my heart silently screams
I leave the stage and take a seat now I am two yet all alone
I watch myself from first row-center take a bow...I'm on my own
Gathering up the roses that the other me had thrown
and signing my own autograph, for in my dream I am well known
Alas, the curtain closes...no more roses on the stage
The dreams I dream are in my mind where I'm confined within a cage
Elusive are the illusions of a day without rage
and so amusing is the muse of the delusional sage
Sadness is the song coming from the mourning dove
and madness is the music raining from the skies above
In my loneliness I dream her, now she is all I'm dreaming of
Our souls hug, our lips touch...and it tastes like love...
Seductively sly was this woman I'd befriended
Splendidly blended into the dream, I descended
When it was all said and done, when the dream had finally ended
I awoke to the Lord...just as he had intended...
