PostSubject: lonesome dove   Sun Apr 28, 2013 12:13 pm

I got to hold it for a while and kissed it on it's head. A man in a truck by the curbside watched everything i did from the time i picked it and up and carried it away.
The look on his face as i drove by, i did not understand until the next day(incredulous and full of wonder), i didn't even know he was watching everything i'd done, that had not immediately occured to me. All i could see was the dove fluttering on the ground, victim of a hawk attack and seriously injured. The other truck can be seen in the background in this photo , holding the dove in my hand safely inside of my truck. Unfortunately the little guy did not make it. You never know who is watching and how our actions might affect them and how our acts of kindnesses can be such an inspirational ministry to others! My teacher and a valuable lesson were literally in my own hands for a very brief time
