PostSubject: THE MORE THAN MENTAL DIET   Mon Oct 17, 2011 9:54 am

Go to www.wix.com/journeyofsilence/spoken for links to The More than Mental Diet on Kindle, Lulu.com, and Blurb.com! There are ten exercises for each day of the week!

“The More than Mental Diet”
Introduction:
"The More than Mental Diet" is a toolbox to deepen our understanding and spiritual lives. It was written in the course of everyday life, in walking with God, with a need to share the profound side of life. A most invaluable part of this growth experience, and perhaps the greatest reason for it was the reading of biblical scriptures. The following exercises are intended to connect us with a world containing genuine spirit-filled truth.

Day 7:

3) World Body:
There are walls of circumstance, doors of occurrences, and paths that we are set upon. Our open minds, hearts, and souls can feel more than our own thoughts and longings. They are joined with our larger body, our World Body. The previous exercise mentions a greater body, but what does this mean to us? Each of us can feel the world around us to a degree. Our spiritual body is not of flesh and bone. We are tied and joined together in inseparable bonds of invisible realities. Have you ever walked through a crowded supermarket and turned down a grocery lane not knowing why? What items nudged your interest; who was casually shopping nearby; what feeling disrupted your search or sped you on? We are a greater part inside of God’s Creation and He can use anyone or anything to move us to where is best. He sees our every thought and desire and knows how and why we act. There are millions of intelligent influences acting on us each day. Each is placed in the astounding mixture of spiritual purpose, in the flood of our living being. It is our great hope to follow the Good forces that guide and ignore those acting against us. For this exercise ask God to reveal the meaning of the greater workings in the moments of your life. Ask Him to sensitize your World Body.

Psalms 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Psalms 34:7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

Day 7: Exercise 3 from “The More than Mental Diet” by David Aiello. Copyright 2011. (All scriptures are from the King James 1611 Bible.)
